jazz standards and originals

Kevin Jones (guitar) has been playing guitar since the age of twelve after studying piano and trumpet as a younger child. He gravitated to jazz as his desire grew to use the guitar as a tool "to be able to play what I hear in my head." Kevin studied jazz at San Diego State University and was a member of the Nathan Hubbard Trio which received "Best Jazz Album" at the San Diego Music Awards. Kevin worked full time in a variety of musical contexts in the San Diego area before moving to Ithaca in 2019.

Stu Zimny (upright bass) has been playing music since he was a child. He studied bass with various jazz greats and classical musicians in New York, Boston, and California. Living in the southwest for 15 years and working as a technologist, Stu freelanced in both jazz and classical settings. He relocated to the Finger Lakes region and has been working locally with various groups since 2017, including the Ageless Jazz Big Band in Ithaca and the regional orchestra.

Keith Evan Green (drums) plays inspired music of all styles, with a focus on small-group jazz. In his early musical life, he studied at the NJ School of Percussion and at Northwestern University, performed at Carnegie Hall with the Fairleigh Dickinson University Symphony, and played drums throughout the NYC-metro area with a band led by pianist Larry Ferrara of NYU. When not playing with the Trio, he's a professor at Cornell University. Keith is an endorser of CANOPUS drums.
